The Beach
This was a first for both kids, they have never been to a beach. At first John just wanted to walk along the edge of the water. Taylor on the other hand ran straight out into the water, no fear. We really had to keep an eye on her. After a while though it was hard to keep both kids out of the waves.
Granny had a ton of fun toys for all the kids to play with
Taylor enjoying the water.
I did not get a picture of it, but at times she would just lay belly down in the water and let the waves carry her in.
Uncle Sam was a big hit with all the kids.

Sam giving the kids a ride, they loved it.
Sweet baby Mackenzie slept and played

The entire family out for Dinner.
Six grandkids, all three years old and younger, plus nine adults!
After dinner we walked next door to a ice cream shop
Look at John's face, poor guy was already red faced from the sun on day one.
Our hotel room was on the top floor and in the corner of the building giving us great views, but we were also right above the outside band playing area. Poor kids feel asleep for naps and bed time each day to the sound of the "Rockalcoholics" band playing down stairs.
Taylor loved loving on her cousin
Day two started bright and early with a trip to a German bakery.
It was neat to see them make a few things while we were there.
Here they are, all six cousins, sitting and they are all looking at the camera, amazing!

Next we headed to a souvenir shop to get the kids some t-shirts. This place as you can see has you walk in through the sharks mouth.

Saturday evening we went to another local eatery. This place had a nice outside area that was perfect for us to let the kids just be kids while we waited for food.

After dinner we wanted to take the kids for a drive on the beach. I remember doing this with my parents when I was younger and I thought the kids would enjoy it as well.

Sunday morning we headed back to the airport to fly home
Taylor got the hang of how to buckle herself in

On our return flight we had a visiter, a transformer.
Best dollar toy, kept John and Taylor entertained for a good part of the flight.
