John and Taylor

Breaking News
Taylor let me put a bow in her hair and she kept it in all morning. So I took a few photos to remember the moment. Hopefully she will let me do this more often, she looks so cute with a bow.

These two love hugging on each other, love it!

John had a fun time playing in my bed this morning.
Love his smiles!

John Is Three!!!

Today John is three!
I remember that day so well. Here is a link for anyone who wants to read about it.
WARNING: There are birth pictures

Our weekends have been pretty busy but today was a nice relaxing day.

Watching his new movie "How to train your Dragon"

Jim came up for the day to see John and boy was John excited. Before Jim showed up I went to the grocery store to get my shopping out of the way. When I walked in the front door I saw John in the hallway and hear him say, "O man daddy, its just mommy". He then went on to tell me how I was not Jim and he was hoping his uncle Jim was at the door not mommy. This was the first time he was not excited to see me come home, but understandable. I thought it was cute.

For John's birthday he got a bike! Uncle Jim helped him along the trail.

One of the other gifts was tickets to Monster Jam for last night.

This year Jason wanted to make John's birthday cake, a dirt cake. I picked up some buckets and Jason did the rest. It was my first time to have this type of cake and it was really good, plus fun!

What is a dirt cake without worms!

Taylor loved it and was slightly upset when hers was gone.

Next came some gifts. He got a cool Spider Man action figure that sticks to the window. Spider Man now lives on my living room window. I will have to move him one day, but for now that is his hang out spot. John also got some new books and a movie.

Last weekend Jason took John to Motorcross.

Next Week we are having his birthday party with friends and family and Pump It Up.
I think three big fun filled weekends was a great way to celebrate John turning three!
