We went to Toys R Us to get a birthday gift for Emma, and some new monster trucks. Taylor loves watching John play with all his toys so John thought she should have her very own Monster truck. He picked out the pink one and he calls it "Sister".

John also got a Monster truck ramp and has been having a blast with it. Here are two of his new monster trucks. John knows his trucks by name. Here is "Digger" and "Mutt".

My best friend, Lorissa came up to Dallas this weekend and they spent the day with us today. I have not seen her since she flew down from Colorado to be with me at my dads funeral.

John and Heidi had stayed back at the house with Mark and Jason while Lorissa and I took the babies shopping. When we got back to the house John was already asleep which is why he is not in the above photos.

Potty Training

As I have mentioned before we plan to start potty training with John in June. In the mean time we bought a potty "Big Boy Potty" is what we call it to sit in the bathroom so John can get use to it, practice sitting on it when he wants to etc... And he has done just that. He has sat on it with his diaper and without. We tell him that when he needs to go potty he uses his big boy potty. His animals have all gone potty on his potty as well.

Today he asked to go sit on the potty so I took his diaper off and off he went to sit. Usually he will sit there for a few minutes, call my name, I will ask him if he is done and if he says yes we will go put on a diaper. He never has gone potty, but if he wants to "try" then I let him go for it.

Well, I am sure you can see where this post is going. He asked to sit on the potty, a few minutes later he called my name. I went to go check on him and he went potty!!! He got a special potty treat (chocolate teddy grams). We called Jason and he told Jason he went potty. Now he is walking around the house saying, "I went potty" and "I potty", so cute.

Taylor is always on the go, even though she can not crawl yet she wiggles her way from one side of the living room to the other. 

Taylor is much stronger at this age then I ever remember John being. She likes to sit up in her chair and as you can see she likes to try and sit up on her own by holding on to things. She is learning and doing great so far.

Taylor takes five breathing treatments a day and so of course Johns baby needed a breathing treatment as well.
