This jumper was the number one thing Jason wanted for John. I was talking with Jennifer after we got it and she said that her and Jeremy looked over our registry and as soon as Jeremy saw this jumper he knew what they would get John.  Jason hung it up last night and gave it a try. John really enjoyed it and even jumped a little. As he gets older he will want to be in this all the time jumping away!

Two Month Check Up

We just got back from John's two month visit with the pediatrician. He was given three shots for varies vaccines. Jason did a great job talking to him while the shots were given. I was in the room, but would have passed out watching him get the shots. The nurse did a great job making it as painless as she could and doing them fast. 

John weighed in at 13 pounds, 15 ounces and 24 1/2 inches long and is in the 90th percentile for both weight and height.

We found a church daycare for John and we are very happy with it. He will start going in May on the days I have to work. I know its going to be hard, but it's great for him to be social with other babies. The church only takes 10 infants so he will be seeing the same faces every time he goes. 

John and I have meet other new mommies and babies. We meet up at parks to walk, play, and talk. As John gets a little older we will be joining our older baby friends for fun play dates at their homes and other fun places. 

John Howard Is Two Months Old!!!

John turned two months old on  April 26, 2009. Each day more of his bright personality is coming out. As you can tell from the pictures and post below he is smiling more and more. He is finding his hands and putting them in his mouth. John loves to talk your ear off and is making high pitched noises daily. He is also sleeping longer throughout the night which is nice, although its not every night yet and its not all night long, but we are working on it.

Poindexter Turns Eight Years Old!!

Poindexter turned eight years old on April 22, 2009. Poindexter joined our family in 2001 when he was eight weeks old and is the most lovable dog. He never passes up a opportunity to nap next to you or really on you on the couch.
