We had a busy, but fun four day weekend. Here is a recap of the events.
Friday
On Friday we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo. We have been to the Dallas zoo a few times and thought we would give the Ft. Worth Zoo a try. I really enjoyed it much better then the Dallas zoo and we will be going back. They had so much shade and so many ways to cool down.
Ready to go!
Catching some sun!

Saturday
Saturday we headed to Nana's new house and watched The Colony parade. Its fun watching my kids stand on the same street that I did growing up and watching the parade go by. Not much has changed over the years. The parade route is the same and the length is about the same, maybe a little longer now. Then we went swimming in Nana's pool to cool off.
Walking three houses down to watch the parade.

Monday
I washed the kids clothes on Sunday and dressed them back up on Monday since that was the official 4th of July Holiday. Plus I did not get any photos of the two together on Saturday while in The Colony.
