Jason took this picture of the three of us on Mothers day morning, I love it. I am usually always the one taking the pictures so its super special to me that I have one of me with both smiling kids!

We all know that kids grow up fast and change on a daily bases. John and Taylor are always making us smilie with their latest cute sayings or silly behaviors. I never want to forgot those small moments so here are some things that have Jason and I smiling right now.

Taylor

-Signing: twinkle twinkle little star, patty cake, ABC's, and her clean up song

-Talking up a storm, she is saying three and four word sentences which John was not doing at this age.

-The other day she said: "I love you, Aaaaameeeeen!" How cute is that!

-She likes to name people in pictures 

-She wants to be independent buckling herself into her carseat, getting into her chair at dinner time etc..

-Naming objects and opposite

John

-Naming the months of the year in order

-Counting, matching, patterns etc...

-Repeating bible verses, which is really cute

-Playing pretend, each day is a new adventure 

-Making deals: "Mommy how about I watch two more Max and Ruby's then go to bed, deal?"

-Riding his bike on his on and even a little roller blading 

-Most common phrases: "I have a idea!", "Im just playing pretend", "Last year I...", "Thats my favorite" 

Things we are looking forward to this summer:

-Last day of school is Tuesday and summer fun begins!

-John starts soccer on June 20th and starts swim lessons on Saturday June 2nd

-Pools and splash pads!

-Snow cones and ice cream, yummy!

Three years old and full of life!

I could not get Taylor to come out of this princess tent type thing and I dont blame her for wanting to stay in it. 

These three were on a bug hunt.

Taylor shimmed her way into a baby carseat, she thought it was so funny. John tried to pick her up in it but was not able to lift her. So instead he rocked her in it. Silly kids!

Founders Plaza at DFW Airport

Today, we took a drive to the DFW airport to watch planes take off with friends. There is a area called Founders Plaza that has some picnic tables where you can watch planes take off. They also broadcast the control tower communications.
