Breakfast time!
We used Johns new circus waffle maker that he got from his Granny and Grandpa and the batter dispenser from Uncle Jim. We also enjoyed yummy homemade cinnamon rolls from our friends across the street.

Next we went to Nana, Grandpa, and Uncle Niks house to have an early Christmas dinner and open gifts. John LOVES his uncle Nik and the two had such a blast together playing with all the new toys they both got.

'Twas the day before Christmas!

Christmas eve was a very busy day in our house. Janma and Mimi came over and John had an early Christmas with them. Later we made cookies for Santa.

Taylor's Two Month Appointment!

Today was Taylor's two month appointment. Aside from having to get her shots the appointment went great. I hate when appointments include shots, I know they need them, but it is so painful to watch. Jason did a awesome job getting her to calm back down.

Taylor's Two Month Measurements:

*Height: 24 in ( 97th percentile)
*Weight: 11 lb's and 12 oz ( 75th percentile)
*Head Circumference: 40 cm (90th percentile)

Trip to Austin

Over the weekend we made a drive down to Austin to visit family, we all had a wonderful time. Since we will not be seeing them over Christmas we had an early Christmas this visit.

Taylor is two months old!

On saturday December 18th, Taylor turned two months old. I can not believe she is already two months old, it seems like only a few days ago we brought her home. In the past two months Taylor's personality has blossomed. She is smiling all the time, making cooing noises, and becoming more aware of her surroundings.

December

Jason and John getting ready to head out into the cold to hang Christmas lights! Not long after they went out they came back in to add on more layers for warmth.

Hanging lights!

John riding his motorcycle, he loves riding it inside and outside.

Cozy, warm, and sleeping! Taylor is such an awesome sleeper at night, much better than John was at this age. John use to wake up every two hours for the first few weeks. With time it did get better, but looking back I do not think Jason or I ever thought we would get sleep again. With Taylor she wakes up once at night for a feeding. The other night she slept straight through the night.

Janma came to visit last weekend and John was so excited to see her. When we asked John if he is excited to see his Janma he gets an ear to ear smile and says, "YES!" Jason and I love and are so thankful that Jan drives up to see the kids so often. Traveling with two children is not easy or fun. I am glad my family and Jan are able to spend so much time with them and watch the kids grow, they seem to change each day so much.

Bath time has moved into our bathroom since we have a much bigger tub. John loves taking baths with Taylor and helping Jason wash her hair and make sure she always has warm water in her tub.
The other night while Jason was getting the water temperature just right and I was undressing Taylor, John thought it would be a good time to catch up on some Consumer Reports reading. We caught John reading the CS on the toilet. I do not think Jason and I have laughed so hard.

Taylor

Everyday we see more and more of Taylor's personality!

Dreaming about being a UT Cheerleader, maybe?
