Two Teeth

Well, I should have waited to post about Johns first tooth. On Sunday we felt his first tooth coming in and yesterday on Monday I felt another. John's bottom front two teeth are coming in. Here is a chart that shows when infant teeth come in. Every baby is different and teeth can come in sooner or later then listed below. 

Four Month Checkup

Jason met us at the pediatricians office this morning for John's four month checkup and shots. Overall John is doing really well and is where he needs to be. He cried during his shots, but soon calmed down as soon as Jason picked him up. Here are his measurements, you can look to the right of the blog page to see his past measurements.

Four Months Old:

Height: 27 inches ( 96th percentile)

Weight: 17 pounds ( 90th percentile)

Head Circumference: 17 (75th percentile)

John's pediatrician said we could start introducing solids to John. We are going to be starting with vegetables. With each new food we will wait about three days before we try a different fruit or vegetable so that if John is allergic to certain foods we will know. Keep checking back to our blog for pictures of John's first foods. 

Houston we have a tooth!!!

Yesterday, John was drooling more then normal. Today, we woke up to find John cutting his first tooth. It is his bottom front right tooth. Other than the drooling he is going about his day like any other.

Home Update

They are beginning on our home. They have begun the initial grading process of the lot and have rough framed where the house will sit. Here are some photos.

Our House Plot Plan

Today we met with the builder to red line the blue prints. Here is our plot plan so you can see where our house will sit on the lot. Front of the house is north facing. Back yard, as defined by the back of the house, is roughly 60ft deep by 65ft wide at the house, and 50ft wide at the back fence. We are bringing the fence forward on the house as much as the city will let us on the left side yard (corner lot so we are limited here), and then enough on the right side to cover the master bath window.
