Halloween 2012

Halloween was super busy for us this year, but a ton of fun. On Wednesday morning we headed across the street for Halloween breakfast with my sweet friends, Danae, Jennifer, and Cara and their kids. It was really fun and something we agreed we need to do more often.

Taylor, Hayley, Emma, and John

Next I headed to the park to meet up with some other friends. We took pictures of the kids in their costumes, Taylor, however, did not want anything to do with pictures.

After a fun morning we headed back to the house for naps before going out again.
We headed to the Scare on the Square with Danae and her girls. McKinney puts on this event every year and it is always fun. Each shop on the old historical square passes out candy to the kids as they walk by. In the middle of the square, games are set up for kids to play, local fighter fighters pass out candy, and a small stage is set up for local youth dance groups to perform. After the kids had filled their buckets full of candy we headed back home to wait on Jason to get home from work so we could trick or treat around our neighborhood.

Taylor
She started off as a cat and had ears, but then decided she did not want to wear them. So then she told everyone she was a princess ballerina.

Getting candy

Before we headed out to the square i got up into the attic to get the kids their halloween pumpkin buckets, but could not find them. So they used some buckets I found in the Easter box instead, the kids did not seem to mind. As long as it held candy they were happy.

Taylor decided she did not want to wait inline to get candy from the next shop, so she just sat down and started going though what she had in her bucket.

The princess bounce house arrived early for plenty of bounce house fun

At the bottom of this pile of grandkids, you will find grandpa Frank. All the grandkids were piled on him, having a fun time.

Hayley

Landon, Hayley's little brother

Signing "Happy Birthday" to Taylor, she was a little shy

She thought the cupcake was making her hands too messy so this was her solution.

I think she realized she could get more in her mouth if she just picked it up with her hands.

After friends left, it was just family.

Without fail, when you get Robin brothers together, a football is always being tossed.
