I can hardly believe that two years ago we had John. You always hear people tell you that time just goes by and they are so very right. Watching John discovery the world around him is so much fun. Each day is a joy and always a memorable moment. This year for Johns birthday we took him to a Monster truck show. We all had a really great time, here are the photos from the day!

To start off a birthday morning on the right foot you need to have a special birthday breakfast. Jason made John, a Mickey Mouse pancake for his birthday breakfast. We added a candle and sung Happy Birthday.
After breakfast John opened one of his gifts from Jason and I, two new Monster trucks. We played the rest of the morning with all his monster trucks and watched the monster truck show on TV. Then Jason and John put on their Monster truck tattoos and we headed to Nana's house to drop of Taylor and pick up Uncle Nik.

Notice something new? John is now forward facing in his car seat. The new safety guidelines highly suggest leaving your child rear facing until your child is two years old instead of the old one year old and 20lbs. It was my goal to do just that and as you can see we met that goal!

We ate at McDonalds before the Monster truck show!
John wanted to do everything his big Uncle Nik did. It was really cute to watch.

What a day, John was out like a light before the car started to head home.
Happy 2nd Birthday
