Last week all five of our caterpillars turned into butterflies. As soon as Jason got home we all headed outside to let them go. John was ready with his butterfly net to catch them, but they were to fast.

Pool Days!
Its finally getting to be that time of year again to bring out the pool and go to splash pads.
Austin Visit
This past weekend we headed to Austin for a long weekend visit. While Jason and the kids stayed at Frank and Tammy's house, I headed to a beautiful wedding of my good friends from graduate school. The wedding was just South of Austin in Dripping Springs, I will post pictures of that later. After I got back Saturday morning I got to spent time with the family, it was a really great visit.
Jason gets to meet and hold the newest member of the Robin family, sweet baby Mackenzie. She has the blondest hair and beautiful blue eyes. To me she is the perfect baby, all she did was sleep, and when she did need something her mom or dad took over!
Poor Mackenzie, already being bored by her Uncle Jason's stories. I am sure he is telling her how semiconductors work.
Big sister Madalyn was nothing but smiles during our visit.
As soon as Granny got out the doll house, Taylor was playing and setting up furniture.
Granny holding Mackenzie
Grandpa holding Mackenzie and John saying hello. John LOVED Mackenzie and always wanted to say hi to her and pat her head.
Lucy
Uncle Sam stole John's heart over the weekend and apparently his girlfriend Kylie as well. John thinks his Uncle Sam is the strongest person in the world and thinks he is "As big as a house!". John also LOVES Sam's girlfriend, Kylie. He says she is "Beautiful and my girlfriend" Not sure where he got that from, but its cute!
Taylor loved playing with this stepping stone of Sam's handprint.
Grandpa taught John a new skill, throwing rocks! In all fairness he did teach him safety rules such as John has to throw them towards the back fence, John could NOT throw them at his sister, and his goal was to throw them high and long. The glass table that was on the other side of the fence fell victim to one of Johns rocks, but Grandpa thought it was funny so it was not a big deal, ha ha.

Then she was back to being VERY relaxed.

Hide-n-seek with Grandpa
After dinner the kids played a fun game of hide-n-seek. This was their first hiding spot, all of them together under a table, ha ha.
Madelyn helping Taylor find her next hiding spot, so sweet.
John waiting for Grandpa to find him
Madelyn hiding
Taylor loved to just watch her Grandpa count as the other kids found a place to hide. Here she covers her eyes as John and Madelyn ran for cover.
