Fun Filled Weekend

Over the weekend we traveled to Houston. Friday morning I went to my last graduate class. I am so excited to be done, but I am really going to miss all my friends. Unlike a lot of people I really love school, maybe I will go for my PhD next. We will be going to Houston again in a few weeks for my graduation, Yeah!!!

After class the boys and I cooked dinner for Jeremy and Jennifer and went to their house to see the twins. Claire is beautiful and I can see Jennifer in her. Jake is just as handsome as his dad. Jason was in love with the twins and held them every chance he could. He was even able to get them both asleep at the same time. Maybe Jason should become a nanny he really has a niche for it.

Singing to the twins.

Saturday was filled with friends and fun times. We started our morning off with coffee with the twins. After that we headed south to Pearland for dinner will one of my good friends who had her daughter three months ago. She was such a well-behaved baby not to mention cute as a button.

After lunch we headed to a birthday party for Bailey who was our flower girl in our wedding two years ago. She is seven years old now. Their youngest (John Ross) is now almost five years old. It is hard to believe that just five years ago Jason was diving to their house around 3am to watch Bailey and Cole while Brandi and Everett headed to the hospital to have John. Bailey had her birthday party a Jump Jungle which is a indoor area filled with every jump house you can think of. Brandi's mom held John and showed him around. Once done she tried to hand him back, but he did not want to let go of her, it was really cute, so she held him until we left. I think John found another grandma.

Last but not least the number one reason we were in Houston was for Lorissa's annual Pre-Thanksgiving dinner. This is the fourth year and it is an event not to miss. It really should be re-named the Pre-Thanksgiving Friends Dinner. It has become the place where all of our friends get together at least once a year. I loved loved loved seeing all my friends.

What was great about this year is that we all pretty much now have kids. John was the youngest by three months and I believe the oldest was 18 months. In total there were six kids, Heidi (Lorissa and Marks daughter ) was the only girl and John loved her. He tried to give her so many kisses.
